The idea
Nature needs investment.
It shouldn’t cost us
the Earth.
Forests clean our air. Wetlands hold back floods. Rivers give us water. We all depend on them.
Helping damaged landscapes recover takes money: to protect land, restore habitats and support the people caring for them. Investment can make that happen. It should not leave a few wealthy owners controlling what everyone needs.
We believe there is a better way.
Investors can help buy and restore a landscape, receive an agreed return, and then step back. The land’s future belongs with the people and nature who depend on it.
We call this Beyond Ownership. It means the land has people responsible for it, with strong rules to keep it from becoming a private source of wealth forever.
Capital can restore nature without trying to own its future.
